We will agree to completely disagree with this.
The MEC isn’t tasked with telling the company how to run their business, and that was never suggested. The MEC is tasked to ensure that pilots CAN talk to a scheduler when needed, CAN get a hotel when needed, remind management that IROP isn’t a word that applies to pilots and out CBA. The MEC CAN file class grievances for lack or notification for cancellations. Or how about accountability when pilots are getting rescheduled at hubs because schedulers are choosing to circumvent the assignment methodology outlined in the CBA. FAs are all being offered 200% for trips pickups. Is that something that was asked from management from pilots? Mentioned? Has the 200% to “fly your trip” been discussed since that seemed to save a larger meltdown in January? Management isn’t saying a word about what’s going on, I would at least like to know if the MEC is at least trying to find out And if management is telling them nothing, that in itself is something that needs to be communicated to the pilots. You really think this is simply management doing their job and the MEC just hanging back to enforce the CBA? My man, the contract is getting violated every few minutes. |

My man, the contract is getting violated every few minutes. Got it. |
Has anyone seen the attrition number for March? Did I miss it or did the Union never send them out?

Oh… so suddenly this is an issue for you when it’s an IROP, but if someone checks the premium assignment reports for these violations they need to “get a life”
Got it. We have union members out on full time leave, 90 hours per person. Thats a lot of money. How much would it cost to hire a data entry analyst to hit up the same XY lists that you do, but for the entire list? It would be a lot cheaper than the 90 hours for our SecTreas who is on full time leave from last I heard And when discrepancies are found, the MEC files a class grievance for ALL pilots that have been screwed, not just those that what to cozy up to the XY list at night. |

Frontier has a full time union baby sitter in the scheduling room to oversee the assignments are being done properly. Thats how it should be done, not by pilots having to audit the company call lists like an XY list bounty hunter. If you find you were skipped, great, you file an NCC and maybe win. But that doesnt change anything about how the company is doing it the other 99.99% All this does is reaffirm what I was saying, why are pilots having to do this alone and not as a "unionized" effort by the....union?

The difference between you and me is I actually hold the company accountable for violating the contract, yes it takes a few minutes out of my day once in a while, but that is still more than you’re doing. Will it stop/prevent future infractions? No.. but what finger have you lifted other than the ones to type out your replies here. |

Then either volunteer for that position, or bring all your brilliant ideas to an LEC meeting.
