Definitely not on the FO side. It's hard to even get a premium call due to only having 12 days off in a month, as you aren't legal to accept them. I have had a couple of days here and there where I didn't get called, but I have been used every block since October and worked every single day in January that I was on call.

First off big boy, 75% voted for they contract. Secondly, and just a side note, first year pay was raised from the old rate of $38/hr, so at least be accurate.

The last contract of $38/hr (for the entire duration) was actually a pay cut from the prior contract or $40/hr. I should have came on the forums when I was at $38 and cried unfair after I applied and took the job.

I know you are new and probably just angry to work for the hourly rate that you knowingly applied for a few months ago. Buyers remorse is a heck of a thing.

Discussed to death, you’ll find almost everyone on here is in agreement that first year staffing still is a problem for Management to fix while addressing the pay short comings of the entire group.

If the company can’t staff planes, they need to offer more money. Bumping first year pay at Frontier won’t do anything for them but have more pilots leave during their first year for a Legacy. All years need to be fixed

I think they are but base and rap and days of the week all matter. The premium snapshot shows the majority of premium pay is FO so it’s there for the taking currently and you don’t have to be a line holder. Days off doesn’t matter as long as contractual duty or 117 isn’t affected.

Depends.. when will people stop leaving or when will the company step up and fix the attrition problem.

Actually attrition helps new hires get off reserve faster. The only case where it wouldn’t is if all the people leaving are junior to you, which for a new hire isn’t the case.

It’s slowing senior first officers from making captain currently, which is another issue, but the overwhelming majority of pilots leaving are FOs, and most of them have been here more than a year.

Now the displacement bid will have an impact of time to line in certain bases, but that means attrition will only help a new hire reserve pilot to get to a line faster.

Attrition is not a good thing long term, but before you espouse to a newbie that it will adversely affect their time to a line, at least know what the hell you’re talking about…

Of course premium is not guaranteed and I can afford to live on 72hrs
Must be nice. Reserves in my base are getting used and abused.
