Fine, I'll start the lanyard thread because I have a legit question:

Are we wearing specific lanyards now? I will gladly wear a unified lanyard, like the green ones of old, but I was honestly unaware that wearing an ALPA lanyard was "required" at any other time. (I wear my ALPA tie and pin.) I currently wear a bright Yellow and Black non-Spirit lanyard because doing so amuses me.

The second ALPA hands me one, or puts one in my V-file that I check every 3 months, to start a show of unity, ala "Not Discount Pilots" I will comply.

I proudly wear my ALPA boxers every trip. It has the “Not discount manhood” written across the front.

If anyone has a Surejet one laying around, now would be the time to break it out.

What do you guys think of the merger? 🤣

And. How do you think the seniority integration will go?

Honestly at this point, I just want it to be over with. Lets go with one and be on with it.

I'm also not wearing a lanyard anymore, going with the clip. If we start a lanyard campaign I'll attach a card the same color as the lanyard to display my alpa loyalty.

We have A220 guys proudly wearing an A220 lanyard. I get a dent in my forehead from both my palms EVERY time I see one.

One side benefit is that you can affix all of your flair to your lanyard.

I assume they design these things to be as ugly as possible to draw attention to them??? Do I have that right? You’re certainly not gonna miss it.

Bright green last time, and then bright red “ready to strike” lanyards.

I think we just swapped with Delta. They had the orange ones last time and I think they have green hats off lanyards now.

Is it too early to complain about people not wearing them?

I hope this isn’t a problem, but just like last go around we will have the jackwagon 10% that won’t. Kind of like the elderly delta guys still wearing hats.

I’m not a fan of lanyard but I wear the contract lanyards. The mind blowing to still see guys with sports team lanyards. Just put on the ALPA lanyard if you’re going to wear one during peace time. Contract time you west the contract lanyard no question.

maybe the elderly Delta guys had a really bad hair day and didn’t want anybody to see. 🤷‍♂️
