Once you are hired update your United app because you will be moved up in priority to be hired.

+1 on memorizing the stuff they tell you to before you arrive on property. The folks that didn't take it seriously stand out immediately and have a much more difficult go of CPT in week 2. You don't want to be the person studying 6 extra hours every night trying to catch up and then being exhausted in training. Being ready reduces the flow of the proverbial fire hose.

If you have the flows and limitations memorized on day 1 life will be relatively easy for most of the training.

Definitely study and be ready. Don’t want to have a failure on your record prior to your AA, Delta or United interview.

Looking through the quizlets, it seems that most of the limitations are only the bold ones from the COM. I realize these are special emphasis, but is that all we’re expected to know limitations wise when we show up? I was going much deeper into it but after seeing the suggested quizlets, I’m not sure if I should be…

Hey! I have the oct 10th class as well. Looking for advice, I’m currently a new FO at SkyWest with around1600 hrs living and based in ORD. Would you recommend taking the spirit offer vs staying at SkyWest? My ultimate goal is mainline. I wish money wasn’t a factor but a big part of my paycheck goes to my student loan.

How bad are your loans if career Spirit pay (year 2 onwards) can’t cut it and you require a mainline job to pay them off?

If that’s not what you meant, and you just need money RIGHT NOW, regionals do pay better than your first 2 or 3 years at Spirit (and 1st year mainline for that matter).

What is mainline?
