Every single pilot here has had to go through the joke training pay and low first year pay
why do the married pilots have better training and first year pay? This seems discriminatory against single people.

It's the unions fault, we hate single people and new hires! We try to f them every chance we get!

I'm so angry!

Honestly its making me look elsewhere because I can't afford to support my family as an FO at a major airline.
Until the last few years when 1st year pay finally went up, we ALL had to do what you are doing.

That doesn't make it right, and it needs to be fixed, but 95% of the people you fly with have had to go through what you are going through.

There is a silver lining to all of this...low first year pay is great for those in failed marriages who wish to get out without losing their @$$ in alimony or divorce settlements.

OK, now there’s an angle that hadn’t occurred to me.

I’m familiar with some of the methods used by the wealthy to shield their assets from divorce, but not considering that working stiffs could shield their working wages.

Trickle down thinking……way way down for Spirit.

My favorite are the jackass's who profess so much love for their spouses that they won't tell them they're cheating on them. I always compliment them on their solid ethics and strong character. My kind of role model.

Do you at least attempt to mentor them?
