JetBlue AIP reached

Reached around midnight. No details.
I expect industry leading pay.

It's a Tentative Agreement.

Well the MEC is already in NYC in case they had to vote on a TA, so they’re doing that this morning. So yes he’s serious.

They’re meeting this morning and voting so yeah, he’s serious. And probably correct.

UNDGUY 12-15-2022 04:04 AM

An AIP comes before a TA. The TA is what gets voted on by the MEC.

well I guess ours was never a aip then. But it’s getting voted on this morning by the MEC.

seekingblue 12-15-2022 04:15 AM

Excited to see the numbers….

Does it matter? Their words….TA signed at midnight, MEC voting on it this morning. The process is the same.

when you constantly argue with people and act like you know everything like BunkerF16, yes..knowing how the process works matters… AIP will never ever, come after a T/A, lol

Yeap AIP is just an idea. TA is final language.

You're right, should’ve read SaintNick’s post more closely. Still doesn’t matter. TA/AIP came on midnight (they used TA)….being reviewed by MEC this morning.

JFC. Yeah. Same. We're talking about the union reaching an agreement with the company and the MEC voting on sending it to the pilots today and this f-ing clown wants to talk semantics and laugh at people. At least his priorities are in order.

He's a clown, a rabble rouser. More or less, but definitely more than anything irrelevant. Likes to try and make himself look smarter than others, which has the opposite affect most of the time. He has been awarded no points.

Fah2 12-15-2022 06:08 AM

Hoping the numbers come out good for B6 pilots.

Problem is I’m not sure it will have the desired effect for the staunch “Yes” voters here.

One guy told me he's voting yes because he has kids. 🤦🏼

So what’s your point? One guy told me he is voting NO because he wants parity with Delta 🤦🏼 🤦🏼

FuzzyMulberry12 12-15-2022 07:51 AM

I am interested to see what JB rates are going to look like, and how much that will affect our voting. As someone that can't vote, I hope its a no and we hold the line.

Can’t imagine anyone would go from “no” to “yes” based off the B6 numbers that will be coming out soon. That would require expert level mental gymnastics.

the question is, how many go from a yes to a no based solely on JBs contract. We shall see how the drama plays out

Sounds like the guy on Chicago chat cheerleading yes vote. He has since removed himself until January. Guess he couldn’t convince enough people to put in the foogles he has been wearing……

As a Spirit guy, I’m curious to the timing. You would think they would wait until we vote on ours. Hoping y’all do well!

Avro85 12-15-2022 06:02 PM

Yeah, I hope it's a fortune, B6.

I was a solid maybe before. Let's see how far they get down field.

Opinions vary, no doubt.

12 year 320 CA:

$320 March 23

$330 Aug 23 (with snap-up to average of DL, UAL, AA, SWA, ALK)

$340 Aug 24 (with same snap-up)

12 year A320 FO:

221/228/235

17k bonus CA
11k bonus FO
A little more per diem, I think $2.65 domestic $3.20 international. (Going by memory) and some incremental increases.

A little more monthly parking reimbursement, a little more uniform allowance, a little more medical certificate reimbursement.

Some other small changes to training, etc...

I don't know how to paste all the pay tables.

I guess bottom line is we are about 18 mos from near parity with the big 4 and ALK, on pat rates anyway.

Not good enough for me, but it's something.

Bluedriver 12-15-2022 06:43 PM

Tried to post rates, failed.

My expectation was rates a bit better than this, plus improvements to our profit sharing plan, you know, like all my peers. The snap-up helps with the rates, for sure, and the bonus helps with the profit sharing, at least for the next two years. But after that it's big losses relative to my peers.

It will take some time, but hopefully eventually you will stop seeing yourself as Mr. Discount Pilot Guy.

As you can see from our snap-up, JB pilots intend to be in the hunt with the top 4-5 passenger airlines, although admittedly they are taking a couple years to get there fully'ish.

What a time to be a PILOT.
