I'm sorry if that is how it was explained/sold to you. I will bet the chance NK gets B6 rates in the TPA is very low.

The TPA is really just the outline of the roadmap on how the airlines are going to merge into one operating entity. Rarely, if ever, does it include things like pay increases. Those will be ironed out in the JCBA. Here's the statement straight from ALPA.
I said achieving B6 rates in the TPA is NOT the expectation. I know what the TPA is for. Maybe you were just posting for the benefit of others. |

There used to be silly rumors of “ACY is staying a base because of a special deal between one of the negotiators and management.” |

Would honestly like to know the benefit the NC has in lying to the pilot group?
There used to be silly rumors of “ACY is staying a base because of a special deal between one of the negotiators and management.” There are 4 entities in these negotiations: NK management. B6 management. NK MEC/NC. B6 MEC/NC. 3 out of the 4 would be against the pay parity. Never say never but the chances of getting B6 pay rates before the JCBA is, as I said before, very very low. |
