Are you expecting massive cuts to QOL benefits? Spirit used to be the place to be for great QOL. I can't imagine that remaining true.
Next contract spirit pilots see will be part of either a merger or ch11. The entire MEC should have been recalled a long time ago.

Is "He'll management" a special negotiating division?!

Hey, the bright side is concessionary contracts never take 2.5 years and a strike vote in order to get inked. I expect "This is all the money that the company has to give" (Copyright 2017, 2022) followed by a concessionary TA vote in 3 months.

Stand strong, build our legacy, whatever it takes, and so forth.

They ain't sitting at home. They are too busy interviewing at legacies since they failed at "building our legacy".

Sooooo, the fact that the merger failed and the company is full steam ahead into bankruptcy is the MEC's fault how, exactly?

Sounds like a few of you are angry that this place is going down the drain and have nowhere else to direct that anger other than pointing fingers at the MEC for something they have ZERO control over.

I think its mostly how ALPA leadership behaves when challenged with questions. I would rephrase that most of us are angry at how incompetent this management has been the last decade. Sorry to knock on your ALPA cronies but im glad a "few" are finally seeing the true colors of everyone involved.

Ah here is one of our 90 hour a month "legacy builders" now. I'll help fill you in. The pilot group is mad because the union sold so hard the "second bite of the apple" sounding like they worked for Ted rather than the pilot group. Lesson #1 in contract negotiations, never expect or sell that there will be a "next time", in this industry especially. The MEC took a chance that there would be a next time, lost, and now they must eat that and look foolish. New blood is needed.

Ok, you explained nothing and gave zero examples. That really clears it up.
