With all due respect, JPMorgan and TD Cowen have both suggested bankruptcy and Bank of America has implied it by agreeing with the TD analyst.

That and the 27% short interest...dont need to be a suit to draw some conclusions.

Love your optimism though

None of them were bankrupt, hints why I said post c11.

In all of the “recent” legacy mergers one or both of the companies had emerged from bankruptcy in the previous couple years.

cal/ual was only 4.5 years post United emerging from bankruptcy.

amr/us was only a couple months post amr emerging

dal/NWA was just over a year I believe.

DL/NW filed CH. 11 the same day before the bankruptcy laws had changed. Once they emerged, they merged.

correct. Delta emerged in 2007 and the merger announced in early 08’


nwa emerged in August 07’.
