Ah here is one of our 90 hour a month "legacy builders" now. I'll help fill you in. The pilot group is mad because the union sold so hard the "second bite of the apple" sounding like they worked for Ted rather than the pilot group. Lesson #1 in contract negotiations, never expect or sell that there will be a "next time", in this industry especially. The MEC took a chance that there would be a next time, lost, and now they must eat that and look foolish. New blood is needed.
We're lucky we got what we did, when we did. How is holding out working for Frontier right about now? Some of you are completely delusional. |

Lesson #1 eh? Let me ask how many negotiating committees you have served on and how many contracts you have negotiated? The MEC's strategy was decided by the reps you all voted for, and that strategy was approved by almost 70% of your peers.

it would appear that unfortunately it will be difficult to bargain from a position of strength at this time. He’ll, management is probably going to be looking for concessions

Quick question. Should we still go tell our Delta buddies to "step it up" since we take more out of Spirit's bottom line than they do of Delta's? EMBARRASING.
