Apologizes Halon, I intented to write more.
I believe it will be Frontier or liquidation and not F9 or Southwest. WN is in a fight for their lives with Elliott, have just lost 4 board members, and will soon have a new CEO. They are planning to sell airframes and aren't able to fill the Max 8's that they had to take from Boeing instead of the 7's that they ordered. The have enought hub to hub capacity and need smaller airframes which is the opposite of what our fleet mix currently is.
Frankie. Frontier. Pay cuts. And day turns are NK's future.

The prospect of working for Frankie again and having our rates cut down to F9 levels is a reason that so many NK Captains are awaiting class dates elsewhere.

Another F9 guy here, I've been curious about your pay rates...when the B6 merger was looming did they memorialize those gains into an LOA (without expiration) until a JCBA could be reached? Or was it just a bone they threw you to tide things over through the merger process? If we merge and it's not contractual I'm sure they're going away in the near-term but we will all have to negotiate the next CBA so I don't see any pay cuts as permanent. If it's part of your CBA the rates won't change until we negotiate a JCBA. They day turns on the other hand...
Also, I love the proposed F9NK nickname of this thread of "LFG", which I can only assume means "Low Fares Giant" lol
