Anyone born after about 1990 has likely experienced this before. Even counting the 'free' housing the pay rates are quite low for a wide-body captain especially considering the onerous 'rostering.' If the economy goes down the drain then the math might change but right now there are plenty of jobs in the US that are better than this. I'm glad we have some actual numbers to talk about. |
