Spirit -> Emirates

I saw on social media that emirates or holding road shows in some of the Spirit hubs. Any of your guys tempted to go?
I hear the money is pretty decent. Not too sure about everything else. Presumable most spirit peeps would get the 380 the lifestyle of which is pretty mint.

Why would you presume that?

Because that’s what they’ll put you on if you’re Airbus rated…

Have you spoken to any of our pilots that came to spirit from the mid east carriers? I’d start there

You still only count time spent on the pilot seat towards duty limits? So time on bunk or DH doesn't count. Sounds mint.

There's a reason hardly anyone returns to ME3 once they get out of there.

This is the way.

When you need a job, you need a job. But as long as some carriers in the States are hiring they are probably better options.

I had an instructor at Spirit who was an A380 CA

My new hire class at Atlas had 3 A380 CA's. They all got recalled back during training, all 3 are still here. The former chief instructor for 777 of Emirates is with us too. Same thing. Never going back.

I hope every NK guy finds a port in this storm, and I hope it's not in the sandbox (unless it somehow suits their personal situation).
I have a lot of friends at EK, mint is not the word they use for their QOL. All would be here in the US if they had the correct visa.

Nobody wants to fly for Emirates.
