Thought about a book a had read about the Rise and Fall of PanAm, when I heard about spirit ceasing operations. When PanAm ceased operations, they locked the doors with employees inside. Secretaries were literally climbing out windows.
I lost everything after 9/11, but then gained everything with a medical career. Real sorry to hear that for you guys and gals. It will get better.
God Bless.

Hmm. I think that door and I would have words, and the door wouldn't fare well.

Alaska also offering rides....
We are offering Spirit pilots and flight attendants the ability to Jumpseat on Alaska flights for the next 14 days (through May 16). Spirit crews will need to present a Spirit crew ID and two forms of government issued ID to verify their identity. Jumpseats will be offered in the cabin only.

I thought this was a pretty classy move by SWA:
"Jon Jackson, a Spirit Airlines captain, was supposed to fly his retirement flight on Saturday, but his airline shut down before he could.
He hopped on a Southwest flight to get back to Baltimore from Fort Lauderdale.
While on board, "we casually mentioned it to the crew," his son, Chris, a Southwest pilot, said in a Facebook post. Southwest staff organized a water cannon salute when the aircraft arrived and he was met with applause and a reception when he walked off the jet bridge, according to the post, which was confirmed to CNBC by Southwest."
