Adding both SourGrapes and Cujo665 to my ignore list has helped keep the nonsense out of this thread for me. YMMV.

IMO, asking NEO limitations at this point would be the same as a check airman asking for all the fuel limitations...unnecessary ball breaking.

That's good to hear. I didn't hear why 902 would have been down but we all know 901 had an engine swap already. The news of those two grounded and the others on hold was floating around the training center last week from several sources.

Jyri is right. Those Neos are super quiet...with their engines removed, being swapped on a ramp in DFW.

I wonder how that 3 hour engine swap is working for them.

Hearing another plus of the C series is anything can be swapped in 20-30 minutes (APU, generators, computers, etc) and engines in a few hours.

What's the latest rumor regarding Spirit and the C-Series? Makes a lot of sense from an operating economic standpoint despite being a separate fleet but who knows these days...

Latest thing is it's up to the bean counters. Anything other than that is pure speculation.

But doesn't really matter. Nothing we can do about it.
