You just said that instructing 4, 5, or even 6 days in a row is violating the contract. In training I have had instructors scheduled for 4 days in a row on more than one occasion. So you think that is violating the contract?

No worries and the rotation is being enforced now. No more then 2 on in a row.
As for the question about the instructors being able to shut this place down. I personally don't like the training dept being used as a weapon. By the pilots or by the company. Back in the day the training dept was used to fire people. We also just fought to keep line pilots as instructors in the section 9 TA. I have no idea about the details but if you read the last paragraph in our current section 9 it states the company may use outside instructors if there are not enough line instructors. So if the instructors did stop it may open a box that can never be closed again. Think, ground instructors teaching everything. Imagine what that failure rate would be.

This place is still being run like a 30 airplane op and we are allowing it to happen and they are profiting hand over fist from our assistance while they spit back in our faces

It says they can use outside instructors if they don't find enough volunteers from line pilots. If they can't cover all the open time after the instructor schedules are made and you guys don't pick up then they need to train more line guys to be instructors which takes them off the line and hurts them even more. I'm sure they will find plenty willing to be trained to be instructors. It's not pick up open time or we hire non seniority instructors. It's if no one else on the seniority list wants to be an instructor then they go off the street. Whole different ballgame than current instructors picking up open sessions, at straight pay no less because Jyri refuses to junior assign training.

We currently have more than enough instructors. But you just went back and said anticipated open time. If no one covers it, what do you think the company will do.
