Default CRJ, what MX items are grounding??

It seems when I thought I know most everything I should be checking for on walk arounds, something new pops up. Just thought it would be nice to hear from experienced guys on here, what are some of the more common problems (and not so common probs) that ground this aircraft?

The items that ground the airplane. If it's broke write it up and the MEL will tell you what you need to know.

If a wing is missing, that typically isn't deferral.

If you find a tire missing you're probably not going anywhere.

I have noticed one particular item pop up in clusters is on the CR7. Sometimes during a walk around you will notice the slats don't retract fully. Usually if you drag your frozen ass back into the cockpit and select the flaps to 8 and wait a minute before you retract them the problem rights itself. However, in the past few months I noticed that this procedure doesn't work.

If the slats still stick out a little over an inch when the lever is in the fully retracted detent and indicating "0" there is a rigging problem. Having brought this up to the technicians each time I have seen it they elected to remove the aircraft from the line to have it serviced. We had to ferry the aircraft back to base one day after noticing this upon receipt on a start flight.

Seems a few technicians and inspectors are missing things when returning a/c back to service. Wonder what else they are missing

IAPS fault messages and certain PROX SYS messages tend to cause problems. If a reset doesn't work, they tend to be a grounding issue.
