Hello everyone. I am retiring from the Army soon and looking to move in to the Airlines. I am looking at TransStates Airlines as a possible pathway in the in industry. I know they partner with 4 different flight schools that you can choose from to complete your fixed wing requirements but I am wondering about the "choose your own 141 school" option that they mention. I haven't been able to find any information on going that option yet.
I have already started completing flight hours to build toward getting my CMEL and IFR tickets and have already completed 60 hours and already added on my SEL PPL to mt Commercial rotor/Ifr license.
I am already working with a 141 school here (JBLM washington) to complete everything and am curious how the bonus would work or if I could even use any of it if I didn't use one of the 4 that they usually work with. I am not against using one of their schools, just trying to figure out what my options would be.
Also, I am looking to float the application soon so any tips for the application/interview process would be much appreciated.

Dude, I'm heading that way in a few months and looking for a schoolto get my certs as well. Can you PM me some of that info? Regarding the application/interview, that's about as easy as it gets. Airlineapps.com is more or less the industry standard for applications with a few exceptions.

Study the gouge from the airline interview website (like $30 and worth every penny) and you'll be fine. I've interviewed at 3 of the regionals offering these programs. Just PM and I'll give you more details.

Also, prior to applying, find a cool cat to recommend you. Most airlines give a referral bonus and must of these guys will split it with you. Just saying
