It's a contract where pilots vote on to try and make their qol better. Every airline does this.

My problem, everyone's problem with TSA is not necessarily the pay or quick upgrade times. It is the fact that we have a terrible training program (absolutely no standards, whats right depends on the check airman you have), the majority of the pilot group is odd, and very few actually know how to fly a jet. I've had to sit right seat with guys who think they're in a turboprop. I gave this place a fair shake when I left my other regional making $37 an hour. Guess what, if I could go back and keep my seniority I would. I don't care how long it takes to upgrade there. My QOL and attitude were night and day compared to this place. We had an awesome pilot group and flew an awesome aircraft. In 4 years I never had one person on my "no fly" list. Since January at TSA I have two female Captains in IAD and two FO's that I will never fly with again. Actually if I see them crewing a flight I have to DH on, I'm getting off. So you can go around calling archer, transmistake, and myself idiots and *******s who just complain all you like but we are entitled to our opinion. I never said TSA wasn't a safe place to work and I'm not going around bashing MX or the A/C. All I have done is voiced my displeasure with my experience there. Others, TSA has worked out great for, good for them. Still, my experience and others who are in my position have not had a fun time when we compare it to our last airlines. Will you upgrade fast at TSA and will you get paid, yes. Will you enjoy your life and fly with fun people, NO.... END

Then leave. Another idiot who came here to take advantage of the airline, got the advantage and still think he's owed something.

Pretty big generalization that you won't fly with anyone you like by coming to TSA. Maybe you have a douche bag personality? You're going to have personality conflicts at any company you work for, aviation or non-aviation.

What's enjoyable for some isn't for others, and yes, you're entitled to your opinion. However, you're assuming any person that reads your garbage post has the same personality as you (I obviously don't) and won't get along with the same people you had conflicts with.

Just another CQFO that's helping out the recruiting efforts by spreading sh!t all over.

So what are you saying, that CQFOs are hurting the recruitment efforts of TSA? I'm just voicing my experience and opinions on a public forum. You have the ability to do the same. People can chose to believe whatever they want.

We have an extension to our current contract up for vote.

No concessions. Big pay increase for first year FOs, and small increases for year 2 and 3. Insurance rates go down a decent amount, but only 1% more for 401k, only 1.5% annual raises for everyone, small reserve rule improvement.

It's not a bad contract. The problem is overall it is mediocre gains for non first year pilots. A year or two ago this would have easily passed, but in the current climate of the industry I believe we can do better.

That's exactly what I'm saying. You fukking morons come on here and say airplanes are being flown with 13 MELs, 1 engine DMI'd, every captain you fly with is an a-hole, blah blah blah blah.

There have been countless guys that have come on here to look for and ask for information and all you guys have done is bash this place. I know for a fact it has turned future new hires away from TSA because of the crap you guys throw around.

Thankfully, you jerk offs are the minority. I've got one (1) person on my no fly list, and it's a CQFO that puffed his chest out from the second he sat down, in the right seat. There are a select few of you that give all the others a bad rap. I've flown with well over a dozen CQs that have been good guys to fly with, and they DIDN'T B!TCH. Unfortunately, it's you select few that have the most obnoxious voice on here.

Hey little man, why don't you just calm down. You seem like you're about to blow another fuse. Just cause the CQFO probably had to take the controls to prevent another one of your "TSA" landings doesn't mean you shouldn't fly with him anymore. I know you're a little embarrassed but you need to understand that we have all been there. For many of us it was when we had under 20 hours and were flying 172s. For you, what we'll call a late bloomer, it seems to be as a Captain on a 50 seat jet. The point is, we all learn to fly at our own pace. In time, I have faith that you also will master the skills of very basic airmanship. That is all for now, you can go back to playing Nintendo.:D
