Just goes to show you....the people that bash and negatively talk about this company on here are in the MINORITY

So how is initial training? AQP style or traditional?
Is it an old school "build the airplane type oral"? Just trying to get a feel for what I can expect.
Oh yea double occupancy??
What hotel do they put you up in STL and how long does training last normally?
Any breaks in between?
Is the training dept backed up?
How many classes are they running a month?

If you stay at the extended stay bridgeton, there is a "pilot room" on the second floor that guys from both sides can use for studying and doing laundry, which is a cool little thing since its $4 a load downstairs.

I will say the good part about training at TSA is that they don't wait around on getting you access to cass. We had it the first week and for the most part the entire class bailed on the weekend to head home.

Trans States had one of the better training programs I have seen. It is tough, but in a way that prepares you very well for the oral and the line. Living in the hotel is a great place to get prepared. Lots of information and help around. The new contract going into effect is for a higher pay during training (a full 75 hours), and jump seat is available the first week. There is a nice break between sims and IOE (I went to Europe and flew in First Class). The company isn't perfect by far, but better than most in the regional market. You cannot go wrong here for a first 121 job. I finished IOE, spent a couple weeks on reserve, and held a line the next month I could bid..

How does this new TA stack up against the rest of the regionals? I realize it pays the highest 1st year pay, but how does it compare in the other areas? Pay rates, 401k, health care, ect.. Maybe Nevets can come back and do some comparisons??😄

You have to stare into a mirror in a dark room and say his name three times for him to appear.
