That's why we have compass and gojet. So they can pave the way for us ;-)

Can the CQFO program be cancelled if they no longer feel they need it? Or can CQFOs not get bumped into a purely FO position?

Yes, we have discontinued the cqfo program in the past. Then we hired cqfo a few months later. Cqfo are FO's.

You don't get American benefits if you are not STL based or if/when RDU opens up. Not that you would want American benefits anyways. Three business days to process a travel request when you are trying to figure out options while at the airport is ridiculous!

The more important question is the higher CQFO pay a.k.a. the blended rate contractual or can they just take it away and revert the CQ back to regular FO pay?

Cqfo pay is in the contract. They can't just decide to make you an FO.

I believe it is two flights with open seats within 30 minutes before your show, with no disciplinary action. And no hotels

So to clarify, if you're hired as a CQFO and they discontinue the program, you still maintain the blended rate?
