Would you vote out ALPA

Might as well see where the pulse is on it. With the recent actions of ALPA standing with Roger Cohen and the RAA, who is ready to move away from ALPA?

Please don't vote ALPA out. They really need your dues money to pay the expense reports of the national officers and to maintain those luxurious offices in Washington. Besides, we are planning several huge banquets in D.C. along with a few "Pat on the Back" extravaganzas for all the good work we have done this calendar year and need your dues money badly.
It will be interesting to see which direction the organization goes with a new President and poor ol' Captain Paul Rice (UAL) out of work. He has to forgo that nice six figure salary, generous expense account and beautiful office in D.C. What or what will he do now ?
Stay the course and keep sending your dues money in !

Interesting comments, but I will tell you one thing.......don't ask for something, because you just might get it. The DAL/NWA flight attendants just voted their union out, and what is the FIRST thing management says? "GREAT, now we can get their salaries where we need them!!!!" So, they just voted themselves a PAYCUT AND NO JOB PROTECTIONS. Fricking brilliant!!!! Bet they are happy about that one.

Can anyone tell me when and where a union represented the employees of a company AND the outsourced labor brought in to steal the employee's job????? Way to go my beloved ALPA! money trumps principle once again! Leadership restores the priorities and we STILL sadly lack true principled leadership.

I have a very dubious perspective on ALPA. What have they been doing since 1978? 40% paycuts and the degradation of one of the best occupations in the USA to that of glorified bus-driver, all under the watchful eye of ALPA. Hmmmmmm.
