Interesting Segment on "Revising Labor Law"
#1
This morning CNBC ran a segment about revising labor law to include a provision for continual recertification. I will look for a link, but it may not be up for a while on the CNBC site.

The public is being deceived into believing that union dues go to politicians and go for campaigning in favor of certain politicians. This is 100% incorrect. Your union dues CANNOT be spent in favor or against a specific candidate or party. A portion of union dues can be spent on lobbying Congress but that has nothing to do with supporting anyone.
The money unions use for their political activities comes directly from PACs in which union member VOLUNTARILY donate money to.
This "ERA" is specifically designed to destroy unions. And it will do just that. Corporations outspend unions every time a group of workers tries to organize. Can you imagine if a local has to fight against management every 3 years so that they aren't de-certified? It would BANKRUPT the local IF they don't lose.
Most people don't understand this, they're playing this fairness card...but it's just a front. None of these people who are pushing this ERA give a rats ass about any of those employees, they just want another way to get rid of all the unions in this country.
