THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS! I, AND MY FELLOW REPUBLIC PILOTS, SCREAM A LOUD AND RESOUNDING "meh".

 

Ok, I have watched this thing for the last few years as entertainment. First the SLI arguments went back and forth and the republic guys kept insisting they were not after airbus seats. Then Frontier clears away from republic and they sue and scream..."Hey, those should have been our slots...not new hires!" I assume they mean the airbus seats they never wanted(and never earned) but were screaming for now. Then they lose and try to pass it off as "meh". Right...whatever. The republic guys that did not tell their union leadership they were doing the wrong thing showed their true colors. That is...hey, I will act like I don't care but if you can steal a narrow body seat I did not earn then sh!t hot...but I have to act like I don't care...you know, so I don't appear to be a scum sucking seat stealer.

I think any major pilot group should think twice when interviewing a republic pilot from this time frame. I think if they can step on your throat say...during a strike...then they will do it for personal gain. I guess if you could show a letter sent from that time that you wrote to your union leadership saying what they were doing was wrong then I would reconsider. Until then... Guilty! Oh, and please don't try to say it was not wrong. Here, let me help with the math of it. rj does not equal narrow body and narrow body does not equal wide body. It's a size thing and well...yes...size does matter.

We got Indigo, NMB, FAPA, no SLI, and a concessionary contract(2007).
Everyone is well aware of their own realities.
It's OVER.
We are seperate, and off to our own seperate challenges we march.
Don't cheapen the moment by throwing stones, they got enough to deal with, without you baiting them.

I wish we weren't shrinking in Denver but we are. I don't think we will crush them if we have not in two decades and we are shrinking the domicile. They should probably worry some about swa but they seem to have survived them for the better half of a decade now. Who knows.... Don't they have another hub or two? Still would rather be them times infinity then a regional guy. Just earn your major job...don't try to steal it...like It appeared. Not helping your resume with other pilot groups....but hey, apparently you like it there so to each his own.

 

Get over yourself. Thanks for the "hiring advice" from a F9 pilot. Our guys are leaving in droves and getting hired everywhere. Funny listening to you. Do you have any idea what kind of reputation you whiny F9 pilots have? Having to deal with immature likes exactly like you is an embarrassment to most of the good F9 guys. Grow up. Move on. We don't care about you. We wasted millions on saving your little airline. You're welcome son.
