New Uniforms?
 

I've heard rumors about new uniforms incoming. I think I remember taking a uniform survey sometime within the past year as well. Does anyone have any additional info?

New uniforms, then new livery, then bankruptcy.

Over inflated hiring and growth number first though.

You forgot concessions that will "save" the airline. Deep concessions that most will line up for like cattle at the slaughterhouse. They won't save anything but you from paying your bills on time. They certainly won't save you from Ch11, or 7 (EAL). History has proven that.

Last May an LEC chairman said at a meeting it looked like they were imminent, perhaps within a few months. I posted as much on a thread here just to give guys a heads up not to stock up too much on uniforms. The CO did its uniform survey soon after. After only a few whiffs of rumor since, I'd started thinking about buying a few more replacement items. However, there have since been some discussion on other forums and at my most recent LEC meeting reinforcing the original rumor. It's probably happening, just on a slower timetable than originally forecast. I'd still minimize uniform purchases. Whatever you do, don't buy a leather jacket as word is the company wants to dump them.

Called M&H today to order a few items. Asked the person taking the order what they have heard if anything on new uniforms. For what it's worth, she said we are getting new uniforms but not until 2019.

Flew with a uniform committee guy who said, new provider likely to be announced soon (month or less). A new uniform is desired but no design yet. Budget and quality level much better than our current. Not expected till 2018. I say buy the new pieces but not too many!
