Company provides every pilot the use of a headset on all fleets (to include the ear pieces)... pilots who have their own headsets are deciding to use an alternative method. If push came to shove I wonder who would win... company or pilots who use their own headsets? IMO if there is a safety of flight issue the company will win as it provides "adequate" communication gear for every pilot.

until they retrofit all the guppies with an intercom switch that doesn't require an effing rubber band to make it work then mandating or pressuring pilots to wear ANR is a waste of time. Are the feds ok with the urban engineering of the intercom switch with a rubber band?
