Contract Survey

First contract Survey is out for 2019. Make your voices heard. It was sent in an ALPA email, if you didn't get it contact your rep or log onto the ALPA website.

I did my survey last night. It was relatively painless...maybe 15-20 minutes depending on how much thought you put into it. The question about international premium pay threw me off. I wasn't sure what that was unless they were talking about the override.

I hope there will be follow up surveys to fine tune some of the areas.

If you haven't already check out the contract comparison they made before doing the survey. It really highlights areas where we are lacking compared to our peers.

I spent 10 minutes looking at it and didn't make it through very far. I wish there had been a Cliff Notes version highlighting those areas where we're behind our peers.

Really? It was probably the most comprehensive and thoughtfully laid out product they could have produced. You couldnt take 10 more minutes to actually look at the numbers? It was pretty clear, and they did a hell of a job laying it out pretty clearly.

I looked at it closely and only made it through a small portion of the product. At the speed I went through, it would have taken a couple of hours to go through it (I probably spent closer to 30 minutes rather than 10). Well produced; too much detail for my miniscule cranium to absorb in one sitting.

Really, I didn't see anything in it that surprised me - I've already read about most areas where our contract differs from other sources...

Thanks, but as far as I can tell, that only shows your own airline's documents.
