Default Signing bonus

I get a couple emails a week from our union about Christmas parties, early openers, elections etc etc and still I don't have the 5%of my signing bonus from our contract from how many years ago?? I'm a loyal ALPA supporter but I'm honestly about to chuck my pin in the garbage enough is enough. I honestly don't give a f&$k about this other stuff I want my money. Sorry I'll back the PAC like they backed my bonus, 5 years later minus interest. my loyalty is 100% to ALPA, minus my bonus, minus how many years minus interest...... ALPA is blowing it.

Yes I think all of us want the hold back. The good news is ALPA can’t spend it except in settlement of the lawsuits advanced by management pilots, whom were excluded.

I would think this should have been settled by now, but the longer lawyers can drag out a case the more their hourly fees pile up.

Someone else we can put in column of "doesn't really know why we wear the alpa pin."

yep. add (to the 5% matter) Union Chairman Glawe forcing John Edwardson out, and Chairs Bathurst and Whiteford giving up 80 years of hard-fought labor contract gains, and one might reasonably wonder why any current pilots would be so rabid about out-of-date tie tacs.
but maybe set all that aside and appreciate what the most recent chairs have done. (hint:much better). i might even change my own opinion of the union people ....

Yep I know why we wear it but this is getting out of hand, we will have a new contract before we are paid without interest what we are owed from our last contract. SHAMEFUL EPIC FAIL

I'm sure you have a history lesson to offer and I'll be happy to throw you the opportunity. I was taught it's a sign of unity and support for fellow pilots.

It's not a management pilot lawsuit, it's a military pilot lawsuit. Don't know the total 5% holdback value but mine is approximately $975.

You are one of the highest paid airline pilots in the world, is a few hundred dollars that big of a deal?
