On the 737 I would say 12-13 days off while on reserve, depending on how many days in the month. Once your a jr line holder it will depend on how you bid. If you bid for lower line values (70-75hrs) I would expect to average 15-16 days off. Maybe 13-14 if you bid for higher line values.
I started holding partial weekends around 65%. Complete weekends around 50%.

As a Jr. Lineholder EWR 737 for about a year before transferring, i could always drop at least 1 x 4-day trip to either open time (company) or another pilot and turn a 15-16 day off line into 19-20 days off before selectively rebuilding with better trips. If you are in the front of the CY18 hiring and go to EWR 737, you will quickly have a line and enjoy tremendous schedule flexibility with major holidays being the only days you won't easily wrangle out of. Dont forget partial or full month COLA is available many non-Summer months too if you want to lock in bigger chunks of time off.

Depends on the hiring trend. Most hired since this Feb are still on reserve at all bases. I know one guy in DCA hired in Jan that was a lineholder by the end of his first month on the line. No real way to predict with certainty. EWR 737 typically runs around 80%, so just under 40 pilots. With 30ish vacancies, it could move pretty quick if you're at the front of the next mini-wave.
