Apply for all of them. I can tell you with 100% certainty that HR pays attention to the number of applications in your Taleo job cart.

Regarding the application process for Flight Instructor- I'm curious about letters of recommendation. In the online application it has a space for cover letter and resume attachments but doesn't mention LORs. Should letters be submitted? If so, how and when? Do they matter?

Attached to the application online. You may edit your submission anytime prior to the closing date.

This guy knows what he’s talking about. Without saying to much, you can trust me that his knowledge on these things is very good and up to date.

So, if as an FO you are on 756 IAD but could hold SFO 777 just at 98%, you would automatically get 90 hrs at that pay, but stay on the 75 fleet as your bes?

Your statement is correct, FIA pay is tied to best held, not current fleet. Section 13 of the UPA addresses two scenarios as well should one leave the training department: voluntary and involuntary. This is one reason why you see all those “SUP” positions jumping all over on vacancy bids.

Attach all LOR’s to online application. It was very clear in CCS message no LOR’s would be accepted any other way except attached to your app.

Taleo is the IT system UAL uses for applications.

Best held up to a pay cap of 9th year widebody F/O @ 90 hours plus applicable over ride.

There are a few instructors who are in a different deal that was grandfathered in but no new instructors will receive that increased pay rate.
