The most recent bid, yes. It was a 15000 seniority number. There were only three awards due to backfills for pilots leaving EWR 756. There weren’t any published vacancies.

The vacancy bid prior to that had an awards go to 16 and 17000 numbers. It really shouldn’t take too long for you to hold once you’re on property as long as this train stays in some sort of motion.

Yeah I had a buddy that was able to vacancy bid into the 756 EWR during training in December. My goal is 756 EWR but I won't be on property until later this year or early next year. Good to hear that it shouldn't take long, thanks.

Two EWR 756 spots were in the drop for the 4/2 class. That's the last time it's been offered for newhires.

MCO Base

How long would it take for a new hire to hold MCO granted that you receive the 737 in training?

Most junior person to be awarded MCO was hired on 01/02 (first new hire class of the year) in the March vacancy that is effective for the August bid period. In March the company grew the base by 15 FOs so it helped push it slightly junior. Rumor is that Orlando wont grow any more until they adequately staff the left seat in EWR so I would expect it to continue to trend as the most senior 73 base by a long shot. Its impossible to give a estimate but I wouldn't hold your breath for anything under a year.

Word on the street is classes resume 7/23, but no indications as to class sizes. It's also possible that classes resume 7/2, but sounds like 7/23 is what people are saying. Interviews are still going on, although the interview groups are noticeably smaller than they've been for a while.
