So, back to my original question. In fact, I'll condense it:
Once these pilots leave this temporary fill in job at Avianca... and if they get hired by a major US carrier... will ALPA / SWAPA / APA allow them to join the union? |

Alpa national mostly cares about a percentage of every check they can get. Scabs haved been at the LEC level and below at other airlines. Here at United I really don’t know how much say apla would have since HR seems to be in charge of hiring pilots.
