I thank all the guys I fly with for this contract...it is far better than past contracts with respect to new hire compensation.

There are parts of our contract that are very, very weak and poorly negotiated.

This is not one of them, our new hires starting pay in training is as good or better than anybody’s.

Thanks to the people who made it happen.

Now let’s talk reserve rules, LTD, sick time, and vacation and training pay.

It’s not 90 hours. There are several factors that go into training pay. It depends on how long your training footprint is. If you do basic Indoc at the beginning of the month then have a couple weeks off, your pay will be I the 70-75 range. If your training is the entire month with only a couple days of in between training then you could get much more. I ended up with 109 hours one month during training and ioe. My first month was about 70 hours since I had a month break in between Indoc and sims.

My apologies for the assumption. Your Tag through me off. But after looking at some of your posts where you call them guppies, I can admit I made the wrong assumption.

The guppies not on property in 2010 dont count for anything. That goes for both the UAL guppies and the CAL Guppies.

You, sir, need a life.

Me thinks you got shafted. Long term training is 3 per day from when you show up until OE

This is simply not true, or it was a mistake… I was paid three hours a day plus Per diem from day one of check-in, until my IOE was complete, and I had a three week break in between Indoc and training.

Our new hire training pay/hotel etc. is better than any of the Big 3

That's not correct. It's 3 hours per day while you're in the training footprint. When you are on an extended break between segments you're not in the training footprint and are paid MPG for those days.

There's some pay guides on Flying Together that go into how all of that works.

They changed it. They were paying more than the contract required because they didn't have the systems in place to adjust the pay when on the extended breaks between training phases. Now they do. It's all laid out in the pay guides on the in Content Locker.

It's still pretty good. Just not quite as good as it way before.
