Exactly, nothing matches an ill fitting, knock off Chinese Polo shirt and white New Balance shoes like a leather jacket with the Velcro wings removed.

On the subject of uniforms: Any info on where we can get uniform trousers that are not from our approved vendor? I ordered some new trousers from M and H. They don't have pleats so I sent them back. They said company told them not to sell slacks with pleats any more.

Anyway, I don't think I can wait until the new uniforms are out. Lost 20 pounds and need new pants now....

Congratulations on the weight loss. Pleats are so 1990’s. Get the flat front, especially if you are enjoying being 20 lbs thinner!

I hear ya. The goal is to lose 50. So maybe my opinion of pleats will change when I reach my goal. The Dr. finally had to a come to Jesus with me so I am taking it seriously now. But hey, I still listen to Duran Duran and the Psychedelic Furs. So maybe I am stuck in the 90's and can't get out.

A cut above uniforms makes a version of our pants that are great . However thy may not have the pleat option .

I tend to agree pleats are kinda a dead style .

And to the original poster even if we got new uniforms would the shirts still be the same old white shirts ?

I liked the cut above pants however as of a couple years ago they didn't have any options above a 38. Has this changed?

I can’t see us changing shirt colors with the new uniform so I recommend a cut above or Landerwood (Aetna shirts) if you need new shirts. For around 30 bucks a shirt, I just can’t understand anyone seriously considering waiting a year for replacements etc. The average pilot wears his/her uniform around half of the month (maybe a tad less with vacation). I don’t think I have a single pull over shirt much less a button down in my closet that is less or even equal than double the price of a pilot shirt from A Cut Above yet I spend 12-15 days a month wearing the pilot shirt. For me it is just personal pride that keeps my replacement plan fairly aggressive. Pilot shirts are cheap.
