My squadron mate that was called for interview and got CJO was initially invited to fair, then told rather to show for interview. So it looks like the real strong applicants are possibly bypassing fair.

One of the individuals in my interview group of 4 did not attend the expo the rest I talked to all did for whatever that is worth.
