Default United Poolies and class wait times

I realize there are a few United threads that deal with this topic, but they cover a wide range of issues and topics and are therefore difficult to glean info regarding roughly when a poolie can expect a class date. Official word from United has been non-existent aside from “expect late 2018”.

So to that end, there is someone on here that interviewed January 25th and supposedly started class today, July 9th. I was a mid-April interview so maybe mid-September class??

Can other successful 2018 interviewees chime in on when they recieved official word on a class date? I understand that the latest vacancy award last week was 120-130 FOs? If accurate, it might have a large impact on pool movement?

Thank you!

Interviewed 6 Mar & will be in August class. Looks like there will be a late-Mar interviewee that will also be in the class. September class may look good for you if the trend holds.

Since it is within 30 days of the class, I would guess that the invites for the August class should be going out this week.

That should give an updated view of where we are in the Poolie reduction process!!

I interviewed May 1st and got the job offer on the 9th, so I'm HOPING I can squeak in that September class. We'll see.

I interviewed mid May so was wondering the same thing. I spoke with some new hires that said it was 4 months from their interview to class but it sounds like it may be more. I am not complaining- just trying to plan life.

What was your seniority? I have a friend who was March 1st interview and still waiting for class after 18 years at XJT.

Early May interview here. Assuming a late sept/oct class date at the current trend.

I don’t know what my seniority is. I don’t think I will until class starts. That’s weird your friend hasn’t heard yet though.
