Trip trade question

Default Trip trade question

Had a sick call this month, before you laugh I was actually sick . If I now do a trip trade from say a 20hr 4 day into a 24hr 4 day, my line value will still increase, correct? (My PTC is above MPG and w/in 10 min of my line value). Thanks..... was trying to decipher in contract to no avail....

PTC and LV will both go up by the 4 hours.

Yes. Using sick leave has no affect on your line values. You’re just paying yourself with sick hours.

Just addressing the above scenario. Other posts are correct. LPV and PTC will both go up by the increased value of the new trip you want to trade into.

So in his sanerio his time that was taken from sick bank goes back in his bank ?

????? Too much blue juice and cabin cleaning? 😁. When you call in sick for a 20 hour trip, 20 hours come out of you sick bank and you are paid 20 hours. Subsequent pickup do not replenish your bank (there are situations where you can do that with scheduling concurrence...but I don’t think it is common).
