Agree, non-starter. Hard no, period.

Is it true that United is currently exceeding the scope limit with the number of 76 seaters? If true then what are we going to do about it?

Assuming this is a United-flagged route, and TSA still feeds for United, to me, they have equal priority. Time of request settles the draw. Both are other United carriers to SKY.

Honest question...A UAL pilot shows up for the JS on AA 737 and there is a SKYWEST pilot there as well. The Skywest pilot flies an E175 with UAL paint but they also fly regional feed for AA. Who gets the ride if the UAL pilot got there first?
I can tell you from experience.....It isn't the UAL pilot.

Actually it’s not correct. It’s time of checkin. Both have an equal shot.
Edit: Or is supposed to be TOC. Everyone not AA or WO is D6 and is decide by TOC. Now if listed as non-rev, that’s a whole separate deal.

Not anymore! There was a brief violation and that has been rectified, for now. It is very curious that the Company has bought an airplane that was designed to have at least 76 seats in it. Especially since this pilot group seems unified with respect to “just say no” to scope relaxation. I hope that we stay that way!!!

I think we haven’t seen a NSNB order because we’re in negotiations. IF the contract is in fact early by JAN 2019 I think we will see a NSNB shortly after and these 175s will show up with 76 seats.

"Regional" pilots would prefer to be on a career mainline seniority list, as opposed to earning a few extra bucks at a regional stuck on a non-career seniority list.

20 years ago, most regionals were getting away with charging new hires $15k to pay for their training. Today, almost every regional is offering signing bonuses to qualified new hires. Some are offering retention bonuses. The less desirable regionals can’t even fill classes. It’s called supply and demand.
