As a United pilot, I would say no. They are operated by our UAX partners, so they should get priority on them
I have never understood why pilots in general are so damn greedy. Senior pilots seem to find any way possible to screw the junior guys. I appreciate that everyone is finally willing to hold the line on scope and not sell out junior pilots at the regionals. The whole reason why regional airlines exist is senior guys screwing the young.
I would support a 20% paycut at the WB CA level if it meant that money would go to increase regional FO and captain rates. They are way underpaid. We are not. Lets stop trying to screw junior people even more than they already are

Ask yourself this question regarding the RJ buy:
Is Kirby buying them with the full intention of having them always be 70 seaters?
If the the answer is no, that means either he is buying them with the full intention of violating your contract or the full intention and $1.1b expectation of extracting a major concession from you.
I don’t understand any reaction to this except outrage. Sad to see the reactions of yesteryear on this board.

Regarding jumpseat: obviously your commute hasn’t been downgraded to Express. Lots of fun watching a jumpseat get yanked from you at the last minute because a new hire regional FO has to get to work on the airplane your company owns on a route your company used to operate.
Please stay away from Union work!

Wow! How about you support bringing the regional airplanes to mainline and paying everyone a mainline rate.
