Every day except one in July I flew as VDO. 92% on the bus in ORD and I credited 150 hours.

Yeah, so, you haven't thought much about my statement. Gotta love APC though, home of the immediate spears for anyone not like themselves.

So, if the company staffs up properly, it'll create more seats in higher paying cats, like capt and WB fo. Additionally, it won't force the LPA up so high. I haven't seen a PBS award less than 85 hrs in a year. Last month, 90 freakin hours. And I can't just fly 70 hours if i want to, that would mean we'd have reserve coverage allowing me to drop. I've seen the pool display negative before the 24th even hits so how we doing there. If you saw my w2 for the last 2 years, you'd know I'm not the squirrel type. My ideal world would be a 70hr 18 day off pbs award of which we could drop and trade. Go up to 90 if you want, but don't award me 90 from the get go with "no coverage" available to do a thing about it.

You didn't understand my response. One of the problems with context of a post on APC. If I understood you correctly, in one breath you said I'm banking a whole bunch of nuts (money). Then in the next breath you said I wish they would go back to staffing the airline. I bid for min time the highest "MIN" value in my base for as long as I can remember was 75 hrs. So I don't have to pick up high time line and its a high time base (IAH737) My only point was you DONT have to pick up PP time. You are CHOOSING to do so! ;) I don't have ANY issue with you doing that! If fact some times I may even try it myself! Enjoy it, do what you want just don't complain about staffing since it sounds a little hypocritical after drinking from the fountain.

Hatters are gonna say no way . However met a guy last week on the jumpseat flight i was operating.

Capped out 756 FO , July did 260 hours of credit. Said it was his highest ever.

48 ish grand I believe.

He explained how he got most of it . Additionally simply good luck and timing being at the right place and right time. Including getting bought off many trips.

His gross for last year def exceeds most Airbus Ca’s I fly with.

From what I gathered he didn’t have much of a family so he is always hustling. I would guess min days off each month.

Hard to throttle back when one gets a taste of money like that. Now he has a new goal to beat.

260 hrs at capped out pay is a lot more than 48ish. Unless we're talking net and living in California :(

186 * 260 = 48360

Just swapped out a 15 hour 3 day for a 21:30 hour 4 day with 100% ADD pay. That’s 28 more hours of pay for one extra day of work.

If that’s the way they want to run this business, who am I to complain?

Can you ppu during the 12th-18th while bids are being ran for FO’s? I know usually CCS puts a freeze on trades. Just wondering if the crew desk will manually process the ppu if you call?

I think they are only frozen for the last few days of the month.
