Yes, my point is that you shouldn't trust some random guy on the internet because he's "done his homework"

Especially with something that is 100% opaque.

are people supposed to trust you?

Yeah i agree with you in certain cases, but in this case did i give any bad advice? No. And, i followed up my advice with, " go do your own research to verify." So, how about you GFY and start being part of the solution, not part of the problem

I’m not giving advice on the hogan. I’m giving advice on a very well established principle to not trust random people who claim to have mastered the hogan.

Have a wonderful day fellow ALPA pilot.

I failed it and passed it. When I passed it, I used “generally” before reading each statement. I described this to a buddy of mine a couple years ago who was about to take it. I didn’t tell him how to answer, but just said that I had better results when I began each statement with “generally.” He failed the test. He’s now happily flying for Alaska. The other guy I know who failed it is already a captain at Delta. The test is jacked up. Just get it over with and cross your fingers.

And my point is This is the mentality of people that didn’t do the research to learn how the test was designed. Choose your path

I wonder what the pass rate is? They hosted about 550 with the recent job fair, supposedly someone was told they would send out Hogan’s this week. If you assume not everyone made it through to hogan say 400 then after hogan that would be about 300 people ready for interview I’d pass Is say 75%

They had to widen the goal posts a few years ago by too many people were failing. I think I heard the target is 75% pass now.
