Any definite word on what simulators are going into the new sim building? If all of the bays are spoken for and there's no room for an NSNB, I think that answers the question short term on whether or not the company will buy NSNBs.
So the G building will have 3 open bays and 1 open FTD bay for now. |

So far the only “official” word is 3 737 max sims. I don’t think Realistate is a limiting factor at the FTC.

With the touted efficiency of the A220-300, I could see Spirit cramming 160 seats into that thing. It has trans-con range, and could blow the doors off of currently unprofitable routes using the A319s. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I’ve heard the A220 only gets the amazing fuel economy airbus promised by flying it at .74 and low 30s.
Seriously? Is there anything you can link to? I’ve been a fan of the C-Series program for 9 years. Anything the break up the Airbus/Boeing duopoly. If what you’re saying is accurate, well then it’s a real shame. I had high hopes for this bird. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I wonder how the E190/195 E2 compares to the A220. 2x2 seating on the Embraer is nice and a common type could allow us to operate everything from the 175 and up. I’d love to be wrong, but I still think that we will never fly 76 seaters at mainline, but buying efficient 100-120 seat planes to replace or add to the aging 737-700/319 fleet could happen eventually.
