That's funny...I used to be a B6 instructor and now fly for UAL. I keep in touch with several instructors there and haven't heard anything along those lines.
Can someone say newest Star Alliance partner! I can see that scenario being more likely, which would then evolve into a JV of some sort with some slot/gate trading down the road.
Flown with multiple captains who have undergone Charm school where all the big wigs commonly show up .. multiple times they have all said Jetblue isn’t happening , too much money and not enough to gain . Obvi anything that would be happening behind closed doors would be a major secret and privileged info .
That being said , they above is true until the day it isn’t , in which the pilot group will commonly be the last to know .
We already have cabin cleaners. What does JetBlue have to offer?
They voted in alpa and are dealing with a management that views/treats them as if they are flight attendants. Our IT, scheduling, and overall management (being incompetent) complaints aren't even in the same universe as those guys. They are in the trenches where many of us have been before and could be again. Funny but also not.

When B6 came into existence, they were given a sweetheart deal for JFK gates by the NYNJ Port Authority (I think former NY Gov Pataki had a lot of involvement). IIRC, those sweetheart deals are automatically cancelled with change of ownership of B6. So there's likely nothing to buy except some heavily mortgaged planes.
