Really, you might want to check yourself there pal. Please quote what I said that makes me a biggot.
Anyway. If you want to keep making jokes at the expense of LGBT people or defending those who do feel free. I’m just pointing out what should be patently obvious, that you shouldn’t be making gay jokes on a United forum. |

Who said anything about hiring. I’m just asking if you make gay jokes in the cockpit. Not very professional.
So these two straight white guys walk into a bar..... Do I get the PC Bravo award? |

I didn’t say you were a bigot. I said that many of the things said here would easily be considered bigoted language in a workplace. This being a professional website I think we should behave appropriately, especially someone who identifies as a TK employee regularly. You were however and still are defending the tasteless language on here.

Haven’t made a joke here or on any other thread. Didn’t defend anyone who did. I merely pointed out that I think you are flying way off the handle. You might want to calm down and reread this thread.

Back to useful information: United will not be meeting w/ anybody 1 on 1 at the job fair. There are no timeslots or fastpasses because they will only be doing an 'info session' talking about their hiring plans for the year.
Not really worth the money for most. |
No one is saying gay people are oppressed or that there aren’t plenty of hilarious offensive comedians (just YouTube jeselnik or burr), but what feels weird as a SWM non liberal, is that you makes jokes about your coworkers behind an anonymous identity that you wouldn’t make in the crew room.
Nothing snow-flaky about that. I wouldn’t want to come to work wondering if my coworkers want to be making fun of me, but don’t, not out of common decency, but because they don’t want to get fired... And you raise the “pc police” virtue signal and know that 50% will defend whatever unclever, unnuanced thing you’re saying. Bottom line, if some 17 year old gay kid was reading up on networking opportunities to pursue his dream about becoming an airline pilot, and he read this, what is he supposed to think? Is is it that difficult to see why your intellectual efforts could be better spent elsewhere? |
Bets on how long it'll take this thread to be locked?

I’m not personally offended. However-, as a union member I’m sure you wouldn’t Intentionally insult your brothers and sisters. Especially those in a marginalized demographic. Right?
