I didn’t say you were a bigot. I said that many of the things said here would easily be considered bigoted language in a workplace. This being a professional website I think we should behave appropriately, especially someone who identifies as a TK employee regularly. You were however and still are defending the tasteless language on here.

Anyway. If you want to keep making jokes at the expense of LGBT people or defending those who do feel free. I’m just pointing out what should be patently obvious, that you shouldn’t be making gay jokes on a United forum.

Back to useful information: United will not be meeting w/ anybody 1 on 1 at the job fair. There are no timeslots or fastpasses because they will only be doing an 'info session' talking about their hiring plans for the year.
Not really worth the money for most.

 

No one is saying gay people are oppressed or that there aren’t plenty of hilarious offensive comedians (just YouTube jeselnik or burr), but what feels weird as a SWM non liberal, is that you makes jokes about your coworkers behind an anonymous identity that you wouldn’t make in the crew room.

Nothing snow-flaky about that. I wouldn’t want to come to work wondering if my coworkers want to be making fun of me, but don’t, not out of common decency, but because they don’t want to get fired...

And you raise the “pc police” virtue signal and know that 50% will defend whatever unclever, unnuanced thing you’re saying.

Bottom line, if some 17 year old gay kid was reading up on networking opportunities to pursue his dream about becoming an airline pilot, and he read this, what is he supposed to think? Is is it that difficult to see why your intellectual efforts could be better spent elsewhere?

Well that would be a terrible idea because you can call someone a scab all day long but add in the the offensive language and they would have recourse to take you to HR where you would then get in Trouble and some time off of work. So I wouldn’t do that.

 

In my opinion, what you wrote is the embodiment of true conservatism. Not whatever perverted form has infected our country. Bravo
