They had a brief experiment with tan uniforms too. That was 35+ years ago. We’re hipsters now with a sporty vest and windbreakers. Next is the man bun.

Jetblue changes their tie style about every six months. Same color scheme but different pattern. Couldn't we do that? With a different color than plush purple? Just look at the delta flight attendants who went from red dresses to frumpy purple spandex like this.

I’ll miss the gold, first time wearing gold for me. Not that I’m a bling-er type but...

This PURPLEish ALPA tie I wore quite a bit at my last airline, so a slightly brighter purple tie (maroon-ish to me) seems acceptable comparatively.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...f94ccbc179.jpg

No sir. We just have 3 options as well as “holiday ties”
You don’t want ours they shed, very very poor quality.

Judging by the comments on here, you all complain too much. GeezUs!

Yeah, it's a purple tie. Whatever. How many of you, during your initial interviews, told the company your aversion to modern fashioned uniforms. I'll bet my profit sharing check that no one did.

Recall the MEC Uniform Chairman

The only way to send a clear message is for each LEC to send resolutions to the MEC to a) recall the uniform chairman , b). Direct the MEC chair to clearly communicate that these uniforms are unacceptable.

Outside of that, enjoy looking like Barney the Dinosaur & ****
