Anyone know how they decide who gets assigned to each class? I assume it’s based on CJO date (as long as class date is past one’s availability), but didn’t know if it was anything beyond that.

FWIW, at this point manpower planning knows exactly how many unfilled vacancies will exist. The max/min numbers have been established to prevent any undesired backfills during this run. Thus, this bid has been sized to create the exact number of openings desired.
What "they" are doing, however, is waiting to announce class dates (and sizes) on a month-to-month basis when they have a better grasp of exact training availability. The class dates must effectively be offered to furloughed pilots first and that drives the timing.
If past months are any indication, we should be hearing about June dates shortly.

Saw they announced one June class. March CJO, and today is the first time I got an email about an upcoming class and to say that the class date offering will be coming via email approximately one month out. Anyone/everyone else get that email? I thought I had heard/seen/invented rumors before that usually means you might be in the queue for the next class...

I'm a December 2018 CJO with an availability date of June 1st. I received similar emails in January and February but haven't heard from them until I received the same email today. I personally think its just a mass email they send out to all the people they gave the CJO.

Not sure its a good idea to "Push" back your availability once you get a CJO. I always had June 1st on my app and to be honest, I was surprised they invited me to interview that far out. The Captain in the HR panel was very understanding about military guys and he told me he understood that we cant just put in a 2 week notice and get out.
