I talked to a guy in DEN this week who had just interviewed, he started the process in December. He was a military guy but I didn’t ask what he flew.

When you applied (or how long since) is completely irrelevant!
Every app is scored based on the secret formula that UA has. When they want to interview 20 applicants, the computer spits out the next 20 names! Historically they had separate piles, but I don't think they have those now, or at least they aren't under any court order to do so. But even if they do have separate piles, I guarantee one of them is not "who applied the longest ago." Apply and then update as frequently as you can. Nobody knows what specifically goes into the secret formula, but more flying, more aircraft types, more PIC, a 4 year degree, more instructor/management positions, recommendations, more this, more that, and more of the other thing will all get you more points. How many for each thing I don't know, but keep flying and keep updating and then someday (hopefully sooner rather than later) UA will let you know when the secret formula has spit out your name. |

I dont see 4 year degree. Did you leave that out? How much of that TPIC was 121?
The TPIC is all 135, as that's where I'm currently flying. |

Emerald Coast or similar services can get you thinking about your experiences and how to apply them to the interview. If you work at XO you probably have plenty to draw from relating to customer service and dealing with people, etc. Best of luck...plan a vacation or some place you need to be. Thats usually when thye call for an interview. |
