So I have tried it both ways. I input a notification of an existing trade board trip and made sure address and phone correct using what was out above. I get the test messages pretty quick. No notification from the tradeboard trip though. Hmmm. What am I missing? Anyone else try this too with similar results?

Issues still exist
Keep writing PDRs and an email to the help email in Crew Companion.
Both CCS and Crew companion are dorked up still for ATT especially. I've done text alerts for both settings and sometimes it works for a few days, then every once in awhile, one slips thru. Same problem for Shorts Calls/FSBs, where sometimes no alerts for those.
But you need to PDR. Found out that a scheduler was building SCs and assigning them directly, instead of having them in open time per the contract. Ie. After 1100, any SC/FSB must be in open time for 4 hours or 15 hours prior to a trip, whichever occurs earlier, before assigning. Caught a senior scheduler not abiding by this, which totally screws up how people pick up trips.
Crew Companion folks are still trying to isolate it on a permanent basis.

Received this from ALPA today.
"Thank you for your PDR.
We are aware of the issue with AT&T. In January, AT&T made a change that essentially throttled companies and individuals from sending too many texts. Their desire is to push companies that send high volumes of messages to a new service they have to pay for. This affects both United and Crew Companion.
We have been told that United is in the process of getting the new service up and running. We do not know how long it will be before it is set up. We had our biweekly conference call with the Trip Trade IT folks last Wednesday. This item is one of the highest in priority on our side and we expressed that to the company on the call. The assured us that they are in the process of getting the new service set up."

I got 4 messages from ATT yesterday. All were MMS that said “tap to download”, but that failed.
Changed back to the old format and it seemed to work better, although delayed a few minutes. The MMS test took longer than the txt format test.

What is the old ATT format? Can't remember it. I'm done with the MMS format. Thanks.
