EWR-LGA-EWR FA Van
#2
Use it yesterday at 5:00 am . I was the only one on it . Have used it prob a dozen times (dozen times too many ) however I have never had an issue and it’s never even been half full for when I’ve jumped on.
Have heard some horror stories but I think much of that is in the past as some clarification has been brought to the attention of the FA’s and the shuttle drivers . I do have a picture of the schedule but don’t know how to post it . Send me a PM with your number and I ll tex it to you if you like .

Have used it a bunch of times. The schedule and pickups are spot on. Once, another set of pilots we kind of rude, so I can see where the animosity can come from...overall never an issue and a nice hookup to have.

Go out the ticket counter level and across the street to the second island under the United/America signs and look for the Golden Touch van.
I just used it today and had 3 other FAs onboard. They were friendly and I made sure to tell them that we appreciate all that they do for us and that the tip was on me.
The van driver was a bit confused when I tipped her a $20.... you guys really need to tip better!!!

Huh? A free ride to get across town... and I show a little appreciation for it...
Do keep in mind we (as pilots) get a little something for the inconvenience, whereas the FAs do not....or At least to the level we do... but then again I may have been “duped” by the 3 FAs,... but really it was about the safe and efficient ride that I got from point A to point B , So ya, I felt the driver needed to be rewarded for it.

For $22 you could have taken the train and gotten there faster.
